I liked this book alright. I had a hard time getting into it at first. It didn’t grab me right away. I do love mythology, and this retelling of Norse mythology from the perspective of one of Loki’s wives is a great premise. It was just a bit of a slog to get through at first. Maybe it’s just because the last book I read grabbed me right away. I ended up liking it a bit more by the end, and if there were half stars, I’d probably give it 3.5 stars. I would recommend this book to someone who likes reading mythology, but I would suggest just powering through the beginning.
